PSV and  Fontys ICT join forces

Toon Gerbrands, managing director at PSV, and Ad Vissers, director Fontys School of ICT, have signed a convenant in the Philips Stadium last Thursday. After a succesfull pilot students of the minor Data Driven Business Lab (DDBL) will also start working for PSV the next period. In addition, both parties are investigating which ICT-related processes a win-win situation can be realised.

Students of the ICT-programme in Eindhoven work on PSV projects to optimize data driven business at PSV further. In close cooperation with Luc van Agt, Performance manager at PSV, Ruud van Elk, sports scientist and Joeri Verbossen, Head Marketing Intelligence and Fontys lecturers Bart van Gennip and Dries van den Enden (responsible for the minor DDBL) projects are being developed in the field of football and customer data.

Football data
In the current football measurable players eigenschappen are more important than ever. PSV uses the newest apparatuur and methods to collect amongst others physical, tactical and medical data.

Customer profiles
Besides football aspects PSV sees added value of data driven marketing towards the supporters of the club. PSV creates through variouw software tools to know and recognize supporters and respond to their wishes and needs in a better way.
